The pav bhaji tasted so so good and the kids loved it! The mutton perattal was good too and the chappati, big, soft. Liked the coffees too. Overall, it’s a beautiful, friendly place worth visiting multiple times.
The banana leaf was the highlight. So much flavour! I enjoyed the Puttu too for breakfast one morning .The staff are lovely. Don’t miss out on this place when visiting Penang.
Wonderful foods, just like home cookings..
Waitresses are polite n helpful.
Sweet n sour lassi is awesome..
Coconut Chicken is delicious…
Price is heavy as similar to other Indian restaurants.. but its worth to try.. you will not regrets..
Parking is difficult as usual.. careful.
It's an ad-hoc decision to come here, and it is surprisingly a very satisfied meal.
Love the mutton, and like others mentioned, it isn't the kind of super rich herb heavy taste kind of mutton, but homely and still good. Meat is tenderly soft. We ordered a large one for two, together with fried bitter gourd. They go so well with the curries and vege that comes with the set.
To my surprise even more, at the end before leaving, we were served with the dessert with sago coconut green bean etc, it's so tearfully nice straight to the soul. I might be able to drink one big bowl of it !
