It's an ad-hoc decision to come here, and it is surprisingly a very satisfied meal.
Love the mutton, and like others mentioned, it isn't the kind of super rich herb heavy taste kind of mutton, but homely and still good. Meat is tenderly soft. We ordered a large one for two, together with fried bitter gourd. They go so well with the curries and vege that comes with the set.
To my surprise even more, at the end before leaving, we were served with the dessert with sago coconut green bean etc, it's so tearfully nice straight to the soul. I might be able to drink one big bowl of it !

This is the right place to be if you want to enjoy traditional Indian banana leaf rice. The place has air conditioning. Staff is friendly and helpful. Pretty busy during lunchtime, so service is less attentive and efficient with the small number of staff they have. Most recommended for Kerala authentic meals

A very good place in little India in Penang to explore south Indian dishes. Everything tasted almost similar to what I ate in India. If you're from India and bored with the food you got in Malaysia, you could definitely come over here and enjoy some good dishes.

Exceptional service, delicious food. We had the fish head curry, mutton varuval, fish cutlet, brinjal pachidi and avial. There was a 30 min wait (informed upon ordering) for the fish head curry, but it is well worth the wait. Bru coffee was great too.
Must visit if you are looking for Indian food (Kerala cuisine in particular) in Penang. Reasonably priced too. Highly recommended.
